يدور حاليا الحديث حول  الحوار وممهداته والوحدة الوطنية ومقوماتها وسط أنباء عن حل البرلمان وإجراء انتخابات سابقة لآوانها محلية والتشريعية وفي هذا الاطار أجرت "الشرق اليوم"  بحثا حول مستوى تمثيل مكونة لحراطين في الدوائر الانتخابية حيث يبلغ عدد اعضاء الجمعية الوطنية 147 نائبا  موزعين على 56 مقاطعة لكل مقاطعة نواب مع لائحة الوطنية و لائحة الوطنية للنساء و لائحة انواكشوط الجهوية. كما يبلغ عدد اعضاء مجلس الشيوخ  54 شيخا و بحسب معلومات حصلت عليها "الشرق اليوم" فأن عدد نواب الحراطين 11من أصل 147 نائبا  في الجمعية الوطنية و شيخين من أصل 54 شيخا في مجلس الشيوخ  و بهذا يكون عدد الإجمالي لنواب لحراطين "13"  نائبا من أصل "201"الجدير بالذكر أن نواب الجمعية الوطنية  لا يوجد منهم نائب واحد ينحدر من المناطق الشرقية  التي تعد خزان انتخابيا هائل اعتمدت عليه جميع الانظمة التي حكمت هذا البلد بما فيها النظام الحاكم حاليا,برغم من أن لحراطين في الحوضين و لعصابة يمثلون 85% من السكان  بينما يوجد شيخ واحد من الشرق الموريتاني و بالتحديد مقاطعة"كوبني" و تقول آخر احصائيات أن لحراطين يمثلون 60% من سكان موريتانيا.و فيما يلي أسماء و الدوائر الانتخابية التي جاء منها النواب المحسوبين على"لحراطين"
