ALAKHBAR (Nouakchott) – L’approbation des députés ou le rejet des sénateurs du projet de révision de la Constitution « importe peu » pour le président du parti AJD/MR, Ibrahima Mokhtar Sarr qui dit: "Je ne suis pas dans une logique de oui ou non à la Constitution même si cela parait bizarre pour certains".
Pour le chef de AJD/MR, "l’essentiel" est que la Mauritanie soit doté "d’une constitution qui garantie la cohésion et la bonne cohabitions entre toutes les communautés du pays".
Ibrahima Mokhtar Sarr a rappelé avoir boycotté la constitution de 1991, les amendements constitutionnels de 2006 et le dernier dialogue politique parce qu'on y traite pas, selon lui, la question de la cohabitation et d’autres liées telles que les langues nationales.
