استقليت كلية الدفاع لمجموعة دول الساحل الخمس ، خلال الفترة من 20 وحتى 23 فبراير 2024، وفدا من المدرسة الحربية العليا التونسية، بقيادة العميد لسعد مكي قائد المدرسة الحربية التونسية.
خلال الزيارة عقد قائد الكلية اللواء آب بابتى اجتماعًا مع الوفد، بحث علاقات التعاون بين الكليتين وسبل تعزيزها، وتبادل الخبرات والمعارف خاصة في مجال التكوين الأكاديمي.
قائد كلية الدفاع، قدم للوفد عرضًا مفصلًا عن الكلية ودورها الأكاديمي في تكوين الضباط.
وعقب اللقاء تفقد الطرفان مباني الكلية، وزارا مركز المحاكاة العملياتية ومدرج الكلية وسكن الضباط ومجمع الرياضات.
واختمت الزيارة بالكتابة في السجل الذهبي لكلية الدفاع، وتبادل الهدايا وأخذ صور تذكارية.
