قال مفوض حقوق الإنسان والعمل الإنساني الشبخ أحمدو ولد سيدي إن السنوات الأربع الماضية شهدت تطورا كبير في مجال حقوق الإنسان، وذلك من خلال عدة أمور منها رفع مستوى اللجنة الوطنية لحقوق الإنسان، إضافة إلى إنشاء
جميع اللجان والمؤسسات المطلوبة في مجال حقوق الإنسان.
وأضاف ولد سيدي في كلمته على هامش حفل العشاء المنظم من طرف المفوضية مساء اليوم الإثنين، أن السنوات الأربع شهدت كذلك تنسيقا محكما بين كافة هيئات ومؤسسات حقوق الإنسان، حيث قامت المفوضية بدعم الهيئة الوطنية للوقايه من التعذيب، واللجنة الوطنية لحقوق الإنسان بنفس المبلغ المالي، وذلك في إطار العمل الحقوقي المشترك.
وأردف ولد سيدي أن المفوضية استقبلت خلال السنوات الماضية عديد المبعوثين الدولين الباحثين عن الاقتباس من الترسانة القانونية التي اعتمدتهت
المفوضية، والتي أشركت من خلالها كافة منظمات المجتمع المدني في العمل الحقوقي، وفق قوله.
ولفت ولد سيدي إلى أن المفوضية نظمت كذلك عديد القوافل التحسيسية حول مخاطر العبودية والاتجار بالبشر، إضافة إلى تنظيم ورشات تحسيسية حول نفس المواضيع.
