شهد المستشفى العسكري بنواكشوط إجراء عملية جراحية ناجحة لعلاج سكتة دماغية، وهيي العملية الثانية من نوعها خلال هذا العام.
وكان فريق طبي عسكري متخصص، قد تمكن من تفتيت جلطة دماغية لمريض، أُجريت له العملية بعد تشخيص السكتة الدماغية قبل تجاوز الفترة الزمنية الضرورية.
ويمكّن هذا العلاج المرضى من استعادة وظائفهم الحركية والكلامية، التي عادة ما يفقدونها بشكل نهائي في غياب العلاج.
