قام المدير العام الجديد لميناء نواكشوط المستقل، الأستاذ سيد محمد ولد محم بزيارات ميدانية للمنشأة العمومية، مكنته من الإطلاع على سير العمل فيها، حيث تلقى الشروح حول ظروف العمل والمشاكل المطروحة.

كما عقد المدير العام لميناء نواكشوط المستقل الجديد، لقاءات مع المدراء المركزيين وكبار المسؤولين، أصدر خلاله تعليماته بمواصلة: "العمل بجدية ونزاهة واحترام مساطر العمل المعمول بها والعمل باسم الفريق الواحد وتقريب خدمات الميناء من المواطنين والشفافية في مختلف جوانب العمل"، كما حث على مضاعفة الجهود والمثابرة من أجل بلوغ الأهداف وتحسين المردودية.
