شاركت صباح اليوم الأربعاء 12 يوليو 2023 السيدة فاطمة عبد المالك رئيسة جهة نواكشوط الرئيسة المشاركة للمدن والحكومات المحلية المتحدة العالمية Co-Présidente de CGLU في فعاليات المنتدى السياسي رفيع المستوى بمقر الأمم المتحدة بنيويورك، والمحضر للقمة العالمية لأهداف التنمية المستدامة.
السيدة الرئيسة ألقت خطابا صباح اليوم لافتتاح الملتقى السنوي السادس للتجمعات المحلية والجهوية حيث شخصت مسار تحقيق أهداف التنمية المستدامة مبرزة أهم العراقيل والتحديات ومؤكدة أن المسار ينبغي تصحيحه بإشراك المدن والحكومات المحلية والجهوية بغية استغلال الفترة القصيرة المتبقية لتحقيق رؤية 2030.
كما شاركت السيدة الرئيسة في المساء في نقاش الخبراء حول أهمية الحكامة متعددة المستويات في تنفيذ أهداف التنمية المستديمة مؤكدة في هذا الصدد على ضرورة إشراك جميع الفاعلين من سلطات مركزية ومحلية وجهوية منظمات مجتمع مدني. حيث استعرضت السيدة الرئيسة في هذا الإطار أمثلة حول النتائج الايجابية لهذه الحكامة المتعددة الأطراف من خلال مشروع الزراعة الحضرية ومشروع تحسين ولوج الأحياء الطرفية بنواكشوط لمياه الشرب
