في خضم الحراك الدؤب الذي يقوم رئيس اللجنة الوطنية لحقوق الإنسان الأستاذ أحمد سالم ول بوحبيني قام الأخير بفتح حوار مع لفيف من المثقفين والنشطاء في المهجر عبر تقنية الفيدو كونفرانس استعرض ول بوحبيني واقع وآفاق حقوق الإنسان في موريتانيا المتدخلون أجمعوا على ضرورة نقاش واقع البلاد في الساحة الوطنية بدلا من الساحات والمنابر الأجنبية.
رئيس اللجنة الوطنية ول بوحبيني وفي معرض حديثه عن ضرورة الحوار بين أشقاء الوطن " أكد العالم اليوم الجميع منشغل بمشاكله ومصالحه كل على حدة'
واستطرد قائلا "عندما يزور الرئيس الفرنسي ماكرون الصين الشعبية تكون الأولوية للحديث عن تسويق طائرات الأير باص والشركات الفرنسية وليست الأولوية لانتهاكات حقوق الإنسان وكذالك رئيس الولايات المتحدة عندما يزور المملكة العربية السعودية يكون مسار التباحث عن صفقات السلاح و النفط "
ويعد هذا اللقاء بداية لسلسلة لقاءات للنقاش مع النخبة الموريتانية في المهجر.
