منظمة بيت الحرية للدفاع عن حقوق الإنسان ومحاربة العبودية
(بيان حول قمع الحمالة)..
في مرحلة جديدة مراحل التعنت والإهانة التي يتعرض لها الحمالة على إثر إضرابهم المشروع الذي بدؤوه قبل أيام من أجل تحقيق مطالبهم , قامت الشرطة الموريتانية وقوات الأمن الوطني بتنفيذ قمع عنيف بحق هؤلاء المتظاهرين السلميين الذين يرفعون مطالب مادية ومعنوية وصحية, وعدت الدولة بتحقيقها منذ فترة ولازالت تماطل في وعدها غير آبهة بالوضع الصحي والمادي لهؤلاء الحمالة وهم يمارسون أعمالا شاقة من شحن و تفريغ للبواخر بمختلف حمولاتها .
إننا في في منظمة بيت الحرية للدفاع عن حقوق الإنسان ومحاربة العبودية وانطلاقا من مسؤوليتنا الحقوقية والاخلاقية وبحكم وجود وفد من المنظمة في عين المكان ومشاهدته لما تعرض له المتظاهرون السلميون من الحمالة الذين من بينهم شيوخ كبار
- نسجل بأبلغ القلق الحالة التي وصلت إليها قوات الأمن والشرطة في التعامل مع المتظاهرين السلميين والإفراط في القمع الغير مبرر الذي لن يثني أصحاب الحقوق والمطالب المشروعة عن مطالبهم
-اقتناعا منا بأهمية انصاف المظلومين ومحاربة العنصرية بشتى أصنافها نطلب من الجهات المعنية توخي الحذر في التعامل مع مطالب الحمالة وهم يمارسون حقهم في التظاهر والتجمع
-نؤكد على مطالبتها للدولة بإيجاد حل عاجل يستجيب لمطالب الحمالة المادية والمعنوية
