استقبل وزير الدفاع الموريتاني جالو مامادو باتيا صباح اليوم الجمعة بمكتبه بمقر الوزارة في نواكشوط قائد العمليات الخاصة الأمريكية في إفريقيا،الجنرال دنلالد بولدوك الذى يزور موريتانيا حاليا.
وأجرى الوزير والقائد العسكري الأمريكي مباحثات، تطرقت للأوضاع الأمنية والتعاون العسكري.
وبحسب الوكالة الموريتانية للأنباء تناول اللقاء الذي جرى بحضور قائد اركان الجيش البري اللواء محمد الشيخ ولد محمد الأمين علاقات التعاون بين البلدين خاصة في مجال الدفاع.
وحضر المقابلة الأمين العام لوزارة الدفاع الوطني العقيد حننه ولد هنون ولد سيدى، ومدير مكتب التنسيق بنفس الوزارة المقدم أحمد ولد خيري والسفير الأمريكي المعتمد لدى موريتانيا لاري آندري والوفد الأمريكي المرافق.
