تدور حاليا خلافات حادة بين وزير التوجيه الإسلامي و التعليم الأصلي أحمد ولد أهل داوود و كبار المسؤولين بالوزارة.

و أكدت مصادر من داخل وزارة التوجيه الإسلامي أن سبب الخلافات تحويل الوزير للوزارة إلى مؤسسة خاصة به.و استحقاره للعلماء الأجلاء و الفقهاء ، ضف إلى ذالك المحسوبية و الجهوية التي تطبع جميع معاملات الوزير.

هذه العوامل كلها أدت إلى تذمر العاملين بمؤسسة ولد أهل داوود الذي يستقوي بعلاقاته بإحدى الأسر الدينية المعروفة بعلاقاتها الطيبة مع رئيس الجمهورية هذه الأسرة كانت سبب تعيينه وزيرا.

تجدر الإشارة إلى أن وزير التوجيه الإسلامي أحمد ولد أهل داوود ، يعد من الفقهاء الرجعيين بموريتانيا و أحد تلامذة الكتب الصفراء.
