نظم يوم 2016/12/29 بقيادة أركان الحرس الوطني حفل لتوديع الضباط وضباط الصف والحرسيين الذين استفادوا هذه السنة من حقهم في التقاعد، جرى الحفل تحت إشراف العقيد محمد ولد باب أحمد قائد أركان الحرس الوطني المساعد وبحضور العديد من المديرين ورؤساء المكاتب والمصالح بقيادة أركان الحرس الوطني وقادة تشكيلات الحرس الوطني العاملة بانواكشوط.

وفي كلمته بالمناسبة شكر قائد أركان الحرس الوطني المساعد المتقاعدين على الخدمات  الجليلة التي قاموا بها متمنيا لهم النجاح الباهر في الحياة المدنية وأشار إلى أن التعليمات تم إعطاؤها للمصالح المعنية بالتعامل معهم بالشكل اللائق والسريع وتلبية مطالبهم.

ومن جانبه شكر الرائد المتقاعد داهي ولد سيد أحمد رئيس منسقية متقاعدي الحرس الوطني القيادة على هذه المبادرة الكريمة التي تنم عن اهتمامها بالمتقاعدين ومساعدتهم على حل المشاكل المطروحة بالنسبة لهم.

نشير إلى المتقاعدين حصلوا على مساعدات مالية معتبرة مقدمة من صندوق الحرسي وصندوق وداع ستمكنهم هذه المساعدات من الاندماج في الحياة المدنية بطريقة مشرفة ومناسبة، وكانت هذه المساعدات على النحو التالي:

ويلعب كل من صندوق الحرسي وصندوق وداع دورا هاما بالنسبة للضباط وضباط الصف والحرسيين من خلال توفير المساعدة المادية لهم والتي تساعدهم على حل المشاكل المطروحة لهم كما تساعدهم على الاندماج الأفضل في الحياة المدنية بعد التقاعد.
