قال الرئيس الموريتاني محمد ولد عبد العزيز انه سيلتزم بالدستور الذي ينص على اماكنية الترشح لمأموريتان فقط .

ولد عبد العزيز قال انه قام خلال السنوات الماضية بما يسطيع القيام به و انه يعرف انه بقي الكثير لكنه يعرف كذلك انه هناك الكثير من الموريتانيين يمكنهم القيام بذلك .

حديث رئيس الجمهورية جاء خلال مقابلة اجراها الرئيس قبل ايام مع صحيفة لموند افريك و نشرت قبل يومين و ستقوم الطواري بنشر مقتطفات منها .

Je m’en tiens à la Constitution [qui limite à deux le nombre de mandats consécutifs]. J’ai fait ce que j’ai pu pendant toute cette période et puis c’est tout. J’estime qu’il y a encore beaucoup de choses à faire mais qu’il y a beaucoup de gens capables de le faire.
