أعلن عضو المكتب التنفيذى لنقابة الصحفيين الصحفى محمد سالم ولد الداه، ترشحه لمنصب نقيب الصحفيين الموريتانيين بشكل رسمى مساء السبت 10-12-2016 ، وسط حضور إعلامي معتبر.
وتعهد ولد الداه -في إعلان ترشحه- بتحقيق جملة من الأهداف إذا تم انتخابه نقيبا للصحفيين، من أبرزها:
- الدفاع عن الصحفيين وأعوان الصحافة ورفض فصلهم التعسفي
ـ استحداث مقر جديد للنقابة والسعي للحصول على قطعة أرضية لتشييد مبنى مملوك للنقابة
- تأسيس ناد ثقافي للصحفيين
تأسيس صندوق للصحفيين
ـ الاهتمام بقضية المتعاقدين داخل المؤسسات الإعلامية
ـ السعي لاستفادة الصحفيين من صندوق الضمان الاجتماعي
ـ العمل على حماية الصحفيين من الفصل التعسفي
ـ العمل على إنشاء معهد لتكوين الصحفيين
