بيان:

بعد دراسة متأنية للساحة الإعلامية ومتطلبات المرحلة وبعد الإستماع لأهم المترشحين لمنصب نقيب الصحفيين الموريتانيين، ووعيا منا بما يعانيه الحقل من تدهور خطير في السنوات الأخيرة، وبعد بحث متأني لما تتطلبه المرحلة القادمة من وعي بالمشاكل التي تواجهها الساحة الإعلامية.

فقد قررنا في اتحاد الصحفيين الموريتانيين الشباب دعم رجل المرحلة محمد سالم ولد الداه لما يتوفر عليه من قبول واسع في الأوساط الشبابية والشخصيات المرجعية في الحقل الإعلامي، إضافة إلى درايته الواسعة بالمشاكل التي يواجهها الحقل الإعلامي، كما جاء هذا القرار بعد اطلاعنا على برنامجه الطموح لإصلاح أهم صرح نقابي في الساحة الإعلامية، إضافة إلى انفتاحه الواسع على الأجيال الشبابية وسعيه إلى إشراكها بشكل جدي وفعال.

إن اتحاد الصحفيين الموريتانيين الشباب يدعو الصحافة الوطنية إلى دعم المرشح محمد سالم ولد الداه، وذلك لما يتوفر عليه من خبرة وتجربة واسعة مكنته من معرفة مكامن الخلل في الحقل الإعلامي، كما يدعوهم إلى رفض الضغوط مهما كان مصدرها والتي تسعى إلى التأثير على خياراتهم الإنتخابية.

يدعو بعض المشرفين على مؤسسات الإعلام الرسمية إلى الإبتعاد عن الضغوط التي يمارسونها من أجل التأثير على خيارات الصحفيين.
