دعا رئيسا مجلس الشيوخ والجمعية الوطنية السيدان محمد الحسن ولد الحاج ومحمد ولد ابيليل في بلاغ مشترك اليوم الجمعة ، أعضاء الغرفتين إلى حضور جلسة افتتاح الدورة العادية الأولى للسنة البرلمانية 2016 ـ 2017 يوم الإثنين 14 نوفمبر 2016 عند الساعة الخامسة مساء.
وجاء في البلاغ أن هذه الدعوة تأتي تطبيقا لترتيبات المادة 52 من الدستور والمادة 56 من نظام الجمعية الوطنية والمادة 2 من نظام مجلس الشيوخ.
