أفادت مصادر إعلامية بولاية الحوض الشرقي أن النزاع القبلي العنيف  الذي شهدته بلدية بنكوا التابعة للنعمة عاصمة الولاية ،  تمت تسويته بطريقة ودية بعد تدخل قام به الإطار و رئيس المجلس الوطني لحزب الوطنيين الدكتور أحمد محفوظ الذي قيل أنه يتمتع بعلاقات طيبة في الأوساط المحلية وفق نفس المصادر
