قامت قوات الامن صباح هذا اليوم بقمع مجموعة من الحمالة المحتجين سلميا على قطع مصدر رزقهم على مستوى ميناء نواكشوط المستقل. و يرجع سبب هذا الاحتجاج إلى قرار إدارة الميناء بنقل الحاويات إلى المدينة دون إفراغ حمولتها على مستوى الميناء كما كان عليه الحال سابقا.
أدى هذا القرار إلى فقدان الاغلبية الساحقة من هؤلاء المواطنين الفقراء لعملهم و ابقاهم يتسكعون أمام بوابات الميناء من الصباح إلى المساء دون ان يجدوا عملا يعينهم على إعالة أسرهم الجائعة.
إن الميثاق من اجل الحقوق السياسية و الاقتصادية و الاجتماعية للحراطين ضمن موريتانيا الموحدة ،العادلة و المتصالحة مع نفسها ،ليعلن:
ـ تضامنه مع الحمالة المحرومين من لقمة عيشهم بفعل قرارات جائرة صادرة عن إدارة لا تقيم وزنا لمصالح المواطنين الفقراء؛
ـ مطالبته للسلطات العمومية بالتدخل لإلغاء قرار حمل الحاويات إلى المدينة و إلزام الإدارة بإرجاع الامور إلى سابق عهدها ،خدمة للمصلحة العامة و إنصافا لهؤلاء المواطنين الذين ليس لهم من مصدر للرزق سوى عضلاتهم.
