ثمن وزير الثقافة الناطق الرسمي باسم الحكومة الموريتانية محمد الأمين ولد الشيخ الدور البارز الذي لعبته الدبلوماسية الموريتانية في تولي رئاسة الاتحاد الافريقي والجامعة العربية، والنجاح الباهر في الوساطات الإقليمية والإفريقية والعربية وتوفير نقل آمن لجالياتنا في الخارج أوقات الأزمات، كما حدث في كوت ديفوار وليبيا وسوريا وغيرها من الدول التي واجهت أزمات وحروبا خلال السنوات الماضية.
جاء ذلك خلال ترؤس ولد الشيخ لمهرجان شعبي حاشد مساء السبت بمدينة اركيز نظمه الفاعلون على مستوى المقاطعة (الوزير والبرلمانيين والعمد والأطر ورجال الأعمال)
