أعلن المجلس الأعلى للشباب، مساء  الثلاثاء، فتح الباب أمام ترشح الراغبين في عضوية جمعيته العامة، ثاني هيئة في المجلس بعد المكتب التنفيذي. 
  
وقال رئيس المجلس الأعلى للشباب محمد يحيى ولد الطالب إبراهيم، في نقطة صحفية بمقر المجلس إن الترشح سيكون متاحاً عبر استمارة إلكترونية ستنطلق منتصف ليل الثلاثاء/الأربعاء وستستمر حتى الثلاثين من نوفمبر الجاري. 
  
وأكد رئيس المجلس أن باب الترشح لعضوية الجمعية العامة مفتوح أمام جميع الشباب الموريتاني "مهما كانت توجهاته السياسية"، في السن من 15 إلى 35 سنة. 
  
وشدد الرئيس في بيان تلاه بحضور المكتب التنفيذي للمجلس على أهمية الجمعية العامة التي "ستربط المجلس الأعلى للشباب بكل ولايات الوطن ضماناً للمشاركة الفعالة في التنمية المحلية والوطنية"، موضحاً أنها "ستوسع من دائرة إشراك الشباب من مختلف المستويات في صنع القرار". 
  
وقال إن إطلاق الاستمارة الإلكترونية ستصحبه "عملية تحسيسية على مستوى جميع ولايات الوطن بما فيها ولايات العاصمة نواكشوط". 
  
ومن المنتظر أن تشرف لجنة من المكتب التنفيذي للمجلس على عملية "الفرز الأولي لأعضاء الجمعية العامة"، قبل أن تنطلق لجان المكتب إلى كل ولايات الوطن "بهدف إجراء المقابلات الشفوية للذين تم اختيارهم في عملية الفرز الأولي". 
  
وسيتم الإعلان عن اللائحة النهائية لأعضاء الجمعية العامة، إذ ستمثل كل ولاية بثلاثة أعضاء. 
  
وختم رئيس المجلس الأعلى للشباب بالتأكيد على أهمية المشاركة بكثافة من أجل تمثيل الشباب في الجمعية العامة.
