وضع الرئيس الموريتاني محمد ولد عبد العزيز، رفقة نظيره الفلسطيني محمود عباس أبو مازن، مساء اليوم الأربعاء، حجر أساس مقر جديد للسفارة الفلسطينية في نواكشوط.
ويقع المقر الجديد في حي السفارات بمقاطعة تفرغ زينه، غربي العاصمة نواكشوط، وستنتقل إليه السفارة بعد عدة عقود قضتها قرب ملتقى طرق "بي أم دي" في قلب نواكشوط.
ويشيد المقر الجديد على مساحة قدرها 22 ألف متر مربع، مقدمة كهبة من الدولة الموريتانية، وسيضم علاوة على مكاتب السفارة سكنا للسفير وأربعة مساكن لمستشارين في السفارة وملحقات أخرى.
وخلال مراسيم وضع حجر أساس السفارة أشاد عدد من أفراد الجالية الفلسطينية في موريتانيا بما سموه "العلاقات الأخوية الموريتانية-الفلسطينية، وما تقدمه موريتانيا من دعم للقضية الفلسطينية وللجالية الفلسطينية في موريتانيا، وبقرار موريتانيا طرد السفارة الاسرائيلية من أراضيها.
