قال الناطق السابق باسم الرئاسة في موريتانيا عبد الله مامادو با إن الرئيس الحالي محمد ولد عبد العزيز ولد عبد العزيز قبل الشروط الفرنسية التي رفضها ولد الشيخ عبد الله بشأن التدخل في شمال مالي، وقال با إن ولد عبد العزيز قبل تلك الشروط المتعددة مقابل تعهد ساركوزي بدعمه ومساندته في أزمة "الانقلاب العسكري في 2008.
