بمناسبة نجاح الخطة الأمنية المعتمدة من طرف القوات المسلحة الوطنية خلال انعقاد الدورة العادية السابعة والعشرين لمجلس الجامعة العربية في نواكشوط وجه فخامة رئيس الجمهورية السيد محمد ولد عبد العزيز القائد الأعلى للقوات المسلحة الوطنية رسالة تهنئة إلى سيادة الفريق محمد ولد الشيخ محمد أحمد قائد الأركان العامة للجيوش ومن خلاله إلى كافة أفراد القوات المسلحة مثمنا الجهود التي بذلوها لبسط الأمن والسكينة على كافة التراب الوطني.
 
وأضاف فخامته بأن هذه الجهود تركت انطباعا جيدا في نفوس الضيوف والمواطنين كما أعرب بهذه المناسبة عن اعتزاز الحكومة والشعب الموريتانيين بالمستوى الجيد لأداء القوات المسلحة الوطنية.
