قال رئيس حزب الاتحاد من أجل الجهورية الحاكم بموريتانيا، الاستاذ سيدي محمد ولد محم، إن موريتانيا لديها مؤسسة للمعارضة يتقاضى موظفوها رواتبهم من خزينة الدولة واصفا إياها بالمؤسسة الوحيدة في شبه المنطقة.
وأكد ولد محم خلال ندوة نظمها المركز الموريتاني للبحوث والدراسات الإنسانية (مبدأ) مساء اليوم على أن المعارضة في موريتانيا صار لديها ممثلون في الجمعية الوطنية وداخل المجالس البلدية المحلية، وهو مايعكس بجلاء دورها في المشهد السياسي في البلد.
وأضاف رئيس الحزب أن تطبيع العلاقة مابين المعارضة والأغلبية ليس جريمة كما كان مألوفا في المجتمعات العربية.
