أصدرت محكمة الجنح مساء الخميس الموافق 14/07/2016 حكما بالسجن ثلاثة سنوات نافذة بحق الناشط في حركة 25 فبراير الإعلامي الشيخ باي ولد محمد وذالك عقابا له علي رشق الناطق الرسمي باسم الحكومة بحذائه في خطوة أراد من خلالها التعبير بشكل رمزي عن استيائه من كذب وتلفيق النظام الوارد علي لسان الوزير
إن هذ الحكم الجائر والظالم والمبالغ فيه يعكس بجلاء ما وصل إليه النظام الاستبدادي الحاكم من تسخير القضاء لتصفية الحسابات السياسية حيث يعاقب بأحكام قاسية كل من يخالفه الرأي ويخفف ويعفو عن منهم في صفه من أصحاب الجرائم ألكبري
إننا في حزب التناوب الديمقراطي وأمام المحاولات المتكررة من طرف النظام الحاكم لمصادرة الحق في التظاهر السلمي وحرية التعبير نسجل مايلي
أولا- إدانتنا الصارخة للحكم الظالم والجائر ونعتبره منافيا للحق في التعبير السلمي الذي يكفله الدستور والمواثيق العالمية
ثانيا - نطالب بالإفراج الفوري دون قيد أو شرط عن الناشط الشبابي الشيخ باي ولد محمد وإلغاء الحكم
