قالت مصادر متطابقة مقربة من رئيس حركة(إيرا) بيرام الداه اعبيد ان الاخير قال لبعض المقربين منه في الحركة أن أسباب زيارته ورفقيه ابراهيم بلال رمضان وزوجته بنت أحمد إلى الولايات المتحدة الامريكية من أجل استلام جائزة وصفها بيرام ب"المهمة" وأكبر منه وفق المصادر.
واكدت المصادر نقلا عن بيرام قوله ان الخارجية الامريكية طلبت منه التكتم على القضية حتى تكون مفاجئة للحكومة الموريتانية.
وفي سياق متصل تقول بعض المعلومات ان هدف زيارة بيرام للولايات المتحدة بطلب من نائب بالبرلمان الامريكي من أجل ربط علاقة جديدة بين "إيرا" وبعض المسؤولين السياسين باسرائيل وسط أنباء أخرى عن عملية استجواب ستقوم بها بعض المنظمات الدولية المانحة لإيرا لمعرفة مصير التمويلات الهائلة التي حصلت عليها الحركة في الآونة الأخيرة عبر حساب خاص لعابدين ولد مرزوغ ممثل إيرا أوربا.
