فازت هيلاري كلينتون، بأغلبية الأصوات داخل حزب الديمقراطي الامريكي وبهذا الفوز  تكون كلينتون قد حصلت  على تزكية الحزب لها لترشح للرئاسيات الامريكية المقبل وتعد هيلاري أول سيدة أمريكية تترشح لدخول البيت الأبيض.
