يدور حاليا صراعا صاخبا بين أطر ومنتخبي المنطقة الشرقية التي من المرتقب ان يزورها رئيس الجمهورية محمد ولد عبد العزيز يوم 3 مايو.
وقال مراسل الشرق اليوم في ولاية الحوض الشرقي ان الصراعات التقليدية بين المجموعة القبلية بدأت تطفو على السطح حيث أعرب أغلب ممثلي المجموعات القبلية والأحلاف في"الحوض الشرقي" لوالي الولاية عن أمتعاضهم الشديد من التهميش والاقصاء فيما قرر آخرون مقاطعة الاجتماع الذي دعت له السلطات المحلية
