في إطار سعيها المستمر للدفاع عن الحقوق المادية والمعنوية لمنتسبيها نظمت النقابة الحرة للمعلمين الموريتانيين(slem) اليوم الثلثاء19أبريل2016 وقفة احتجاجية أمام وزارة الوظيفة العمومية والعمل وعصرنة الإدارة ، وطالبت النقابة الحرة للمعلمين الموريتانيين بضرورة الإصدار الفوري لمشروع أسلاك التعليم الأساسي وفق الصيغة المتفق عليها بين النقابات والمجلس الأعلى للوظيفة العمومية سنة 2012 ، هذا وأكد الأمين العام للنقابة الحرة للمعلمين الموريتانين : سيدمحمد ولد السالك ولد اصنيب:أن هذه الوقفة تأتي في إطارة سلسلة من الأنشطة النضالية الرامية إلى نزع حقوق المعلم كاملة وغيرمنقوصة ، وندد الأمين العام بتذرع وزير الوظيفة العمومية عن تطبيق الأسلاك بحجة العجزالمالي للدولة، واعتبرها حجة داحضة وواهية ،هذا وأكد قادة النقابة الحرة للمعلمين الموريتانيين الذين توالت كلماتهم على اصرارهم على "مطلب الأسلاك" وتبنيهم لجميع نقاط العريضة المطلبية ،واستعدادهم وعزمهم على بذل كافة وسائل النضال من إجل انتزاع حقوق المعلم المسلوبة ظلما وقهرا.
