تمت مصادرة بعض اللوحات الفنية للفنان التشكيلي الموريتاني ورسام الكاريكاتير خالد ولد مولاي إدريس، خلال عرض كان يقيمه بقاعة المتحف الوطني بنواكشوط تحت عنوان: "يوميات مواطن"، مساء الاثنين: 18 أبريل 2016م.
وقد لاحظ الحاضرون للمعرض شغور أماكن عدد من اللوحات الفنية، فيما انقطعت خدمة الكهرباء عن القاعة في مشهد اعتبره مشاركون في المعرض استهدافا لحرية التعبير.
وكان ولد مولاي إدريس قد كتب في صفحته على الفيسبوك قبيل انطلاق المعرض: "أثناء زيارتكم للمعرض الذي أقيمه اليوم في المتحف الوطني ستلاحظون غياب بعض الكاريكاتيرات عن أماكنها.. فقد تمت مصادرتها من العرض".
واشتهر ولد مولاي إدريس برسوماته الكاريكاتورية النقدية المواكية لتطورات الواقع الاجتماعي والسياسي والثقافي بموريتانيا.
