ابلغت السفارة الامريكية بانواكشوط الناشط الحقوقي وعضو المكتب التنفيذي لحركة ايرا السيد عابدين ولد معط لله أنه تم اختياره من موريتانيا للمشاركة في برنامج نيلسون منديلا 2016م الذي ستحتضنه الولايات المتحدة الامريكية برعاية من الرئيس بارك أوباما.في واشنطن.
وتجدر الاشارة إلى ان عابدين ولد معط لله احد قادة شباب حركة ايرا المعروفين بتضحية والنضال كما أنه أحد سجناء قافلة الحرية.
