قالت مصادر خاصة، في مفوضية الأمن الغذائي، في حديث مع موقع "الشرق اليوم" أن خال الجنرال مسقاروا، يتولى إدارة مشروع كبير في "دكاكين أمل" تم منحه له من قبل الوزير الأول السابق مولاي ولد محمد الغظف وأضافت المصادر أيضا أن إبراهيم ولد القاسم وهو الممثل السياسي للجنرال متهم بنهب أموال هائلة من المشروع المذكور بيد أنه يحظى بحماية قوية من طرف أبن أخته قائد الاركان الخاصة للرئيس، الذي منع المفتشية من تفتيش خاله عدة مرات
