في اتصال مع "الشرق اليوم" شكا بعض نزلاء السجن في النعمة من ظروف السكن لا إنسانية، خصوصا في فترة الحر حيث أن الزنازين تكون مكتظة بالنزلاء في درجة حرارة تزيد على الأربعين، مع ازدياد النزلاء يوما بعد يوم ومع ذلك فإن الإدارة المسؤولة عن السجن لم تحرك ساكنا في إنهاء محنة هؤلاء السجناء، يذكر أن سجن النعمة هو عبارة عن منزل تعود ملكيته لخواص ولم يعد يتسع لهذا الكم الهائل من النزلاء.
