أفادت مصادر محلية بمقاطعة "ولاته" بولاية الحوض الشرقي، لــ"الشرق اليوم" أن المقاطعة تعاني أزمة عطش حادة وأضاف المراسل أن مجموعة من السكان اقتحموا الحنفية الوحيدة التي توجد بالمقاطعة احتجاجا على الانقطاع المستمر للماء وعجز السلطات المحلية عن حل الأزمة كما ناشد الاهالي الجهات العليا في البلد تدخل الانقاذ السكان ومواشيهم،نشير إلى أن ولاية الحوض الشرقي تعاني هذه الأيام أزمة عطش خانقة
