توفي أحد نزلاء سجن دار النعيم اليوم الأحد بعد صراع حاد مع مرض السكري، وقال مصدر رسمي للسراج إن السجين المتوفى متقدم في السن ويعاني منذ فترة من مضاعفات صحية.
وتوفي السجين في المستشفى الوطني وذلك عقب نقله من قبل إدارة السجون هنالك.
إلى ذلك قالت مصادر قضائية للسراج إن السجين المتوفى هو ثالث سجين يلقى حتفه خلال شهر واحد
حيث توفي سجين قبل أسابيع بسبب مرض البواسر، كما توفي سجين آخر بسبب طعنة من زميل له إثر شجار بينهما
