أعلن المناديب المضربين فشل المفاوضات مع مدينة ازويرات الشيخ ولد بايه، موضحين بانهم تحلوا بالمسؤولية خلال المفاوضات رغم بعض العبارات الاستفزازية من قبل بعض المناديب الغير مضربين، وأوضح أحمد ولد أبيلي -المندوب العمالي عن الكنفدرالية العامة لعمال موريتانيا على المنصة الرسمية للإضراب-بأن العمدة طردهم من قاعة الاجتماع بسبب رفضهم قبول بعض الشروط المجحفة،
مشيرا إلى أن بعض النسوة العماليات المضربات في القاعة ايدوا تأييدهم لاطروحات عمدة ازويرات وسيحاولون إفشال الإضراب.
واكد ولد آبيلي بأن الإضراب مستمر والعمال صامدون في اماكنهم حتى تحقيق مطالبهم العادلة والمحقة حسب تعبيره.
